What does the coach recruitment process involve?

The process is led by aha! Talent Experts, an external talent acquisition consulting firm. If you found this site, you may have been contacted by someone from aha!

The outreach for this role has been "by invitation only." We are specifically looking for leaders in childcare management and who may want to give back to the industry they love. Once you are invited to apply and you decide yo would like to take the next step, you will be asked to provide your Linkedin profile link and a short video.

We make it easy for you with an easy to follow video interview platform. No need to record in an outside platform or upload a file.

What if I don’t have a resume or LinkedIn profile?

That’s okay! CMS prefers a video introduction over a traditional resume. If selected, candidates will need to set up a LinkedIn profile, but it’s not required during this phase of the application.

Does coach location or state-specific knowledge matter?

It’s helpful, but not required. Coaches can indicate the states where they’ve operated. While local knowledge may help in legal or compliance questions, CMS prioritizes operational expertise over legal nuances, which are the provider's responsibility.

CMS is also building a state law resource library on its website to support all coaches and clients.

How polished do the videos need to be?

We expect you to put some thought into it, but we're not looking for professional videos. We want to get to know you a bit and why you are interested in this special opportunity.
